I still remember the early editions of IRSEC, more than a decade ago, when I had the privilege of contributing as an R&D project manager at MASEN, the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy, one of the founding partners of this scientific initiative alongside the Mediterranean Space of Technology and Innovation (MSTI). At that time, Morocco—under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him—was laying the groundwork for its renewable energy transition. IRSEC emerged as a pioneering space where researchers, innovators, and policymakers could exchange knowledge, build bridges, and shape a shared scientific vision. What began as a bold idea has since grown into one of the region's most respected and dynamic conferences for sustainable energy innovation.

The 11 edition of IRSEC marks a new chapter in international scientific cooperation for clean energy. We welcome original contributions across all ten thematic sessions — from green hydrogen and Power-to-X, to AI-driven grids, carbon capture, and sustainable mobility.
Accepted papers will be published in the official IRSEC'X proceedings and selected contributions will be considered for post-conference journal special issues in leading High-Quality Indexed Journals publications.

IRSECX is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity, ensuring a fair, objective, and confidential process for all submissions.
Responsibilities of
Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to IRSECX must:
- Submit only original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Properly acknowledge the work and contributions of others through appropriate citations.
- Ensure all listed authors have made significant contributions and have approved the final version.
- Present research findings accurately and honestly without fabrication or inappropriate data manipulation.
- Cooperate with editors in correcting or retracting a paper if significant errors are identified post-submission.
Responsibilities of
Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and solely on their scientific merit.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts throughout the review process.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to assist authors in improving their work.
- Declare any conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts when such conflicts exist.
- Report any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices to the editors.

Peer Review
All manuscripts are assessed through a double-anonymous peer-review process coordinated by the Scientific Committee, evaluated on originality, scientific quality, methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field.
All submissions are screened using iThenticate and must comply with the conference's publication ethics and similarity requirements.
